Statement of Purpose

· Novato Heights includes all property that uses Ridge, Forrest, Half Moon and Farvue Roads for access.

 

· All the roads within the Novato Heights area are classified as "private," since the city of Novato has no obligation to repair or maintain the roads within this community.

 

· The POA has as its primary responsibility the role of fostering a sense of community among all residents. The POA is also responsible for the repair and maintenance of the Novato Heights roads, and for storm water management.

 

· The cost of repair and maintenance is to be shared by all the property owners.

 

· The POA, through its elected Board, also has the responsibility to actively work with the Novato Fire Protection District to mitigate fire danger, and to promote crime prevention programs, such as Neighborhood Watch.
